Senior Pastor
Pastor Travis is humbled and considers it a great honor to serve God and His people.

Born and raised near Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Pastor Travis Brown, Senior Pastor of GO Church CLT, was surrounded from an early age by loving examples who modeled a genuine life in Christ. While life’s journey was not always easy, God consistently graced him with the love, encouragement, and support needed to keep moving forward. Through every season, God strategically placed parents, grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, teachers, pastors, and mentors in his life, each reflecting God’s love in unique ways. None were perfect, yet all were powerfully used by God to impart lessons that Pastor Travis holds dear to this day. On May 2, 2009, Pastor Travis married his beautiful wife, and together they are blessed with three children and a dog. As a young adult, he traveled and served in ministry with Pastor John P. Kee and was a faithful member of New Life Fellowship Center for nearly a decade.

After co-founding the successful monthly worship experience 1st Friday Praise Fest in Charlotte, North Carolina with his brother for nine years, Pastor Travis sensed a deeper call on his life. Under the tutelage of Pastor Kimberly Massey, he accepted the call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and delivered his initial sermon on November 30, 2014. On Friday, June 23, 2023, then Minister Travis Brown was ordained as an Elder upon the recommendation of his pastor, Bishop Kenneth Yelverton. In January 2024, Elder Travis launched GO Bible Study, an interactive teaching ministry that grew quickly and organically by the grace of God. One year later, in January 2025, with the Lord’s leading and his pastor’s blessing, the GO Church CLT family held its first Sunday worship service. Surrounded by family, friends, and well wishers, the congregation gathered to give God glory for the birth of the ministry. On May 3, 2025, Pastor Travis Brown earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies, Cum Laude, further equipping him to lead God’s people with wisdom, humility, and biblical truth.
